On Tuesday afternoon, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident on California Avenue.
As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place at about 12:28 p.m. on California Avenue and S Street. The preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle hit a male bicyclist for undetermined reasons. The bike rider suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Officials believe that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the accident. No other details are immediately available.
