According to the Lubbock Police Department, a motor vehicle crash was reported in Lubbock.
Authorities stated that one person was injured due to the accident.
Officials stated that the collision occurred on the flyover from South Loop 289 to north Interstate 27. One person was sent to University Medical Center sustaining moderate injuries.
Insights into how the wreck occurred have not been determined yet. Other information pertaining to the accident including the identity of the victim and the vehicles involved remains unknown. The cause of the collision has not been released.
The crash continues to be investigated by the LPD.
