On Thursday afternoon, one person suffered injuries following a two-vehicle crash on shoulder of I-96.
As per the initial information, a tractor trailer was stalled on the shoulder of westbound Interstate 96 in order to change a flat tire. While a tire company was replacing the tire, a vehicle going on the highway hit the tractor trailer.
On arrival, emergency crews took the technician working on the truck to a hospital for treatment of non-critical injuries. Authorities advised the drivers to move over for vehicles stopped along the highway. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
