On Monday, one person was hurt after a vehicle crashed into a building in Chula Vista.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision occurred at about 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bonita Road and Plaza Bonita Road. According to the reports, a white Toyota pickup was initially involved in a collision. After the initial crash, the Toyota pickup continued on and ran into a nearby office commercial building which led to moderate damage.
The building was reportedly not occupied at the time of the accident. The driver received minimal injuries and no other injuries were reported as a result of the wreck. Authorities have not provided any other information.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
