On Tuesday afternoon, one person suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Central.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 1:30 p.m. on Greenwell Springs Road, just east of Central Thruway. The early reports showed that a semi-truck slammed into the side of a car for reasons that are yet to be known.
According to the officials, one person was hurt as a result of the accident. Greenwell Springs Road was shut down as crews worked at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. No other details are immediately available.
