On Thursday, a customer was hurt after a pickup truck ran into a Meijer store in Grand Haven.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at the Meijer on US-31. The early reports showed that it was around noon when the 62-year-old driver of a truck backed out of a parking space near the front of the store. He unintentionally accelerated into the building.
The truck reportedly struck a customer in a store and caused some structural damage. The customer who was hit incurred only minimal injuries but refused medical aid. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation is ongoing.
