The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning.
The officials stated that the crash happened southbound on Highway 14 south of Sand Canyon Road at around 8:36 a.m.
The officials stated that two vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman, Esteban Benitez confirmed that one person was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Officer Josh Greengard, spokesperson of CHP Newhall Office stated that the victim sustained minor injuries.
The identity of the victim was not disclosed by the officers.
The crash is being investigated to determine whether drugs, alcohol or reckless driving was a factor involved.
