1 person hospitalized after getting struck by a train in southwest Atlanta (Atlanta, GA)

On Monday night, one person suffered injuries after getting hit by a train in southwest Atlanta.

As per the initial information, the pedestrian accident took place just before midnight near Humphries Street and Metro Parkway. The early reports showed that a train struck one person.

On arrival, emergency crews transported the victim to Grady Hospital with unspecified injuries. The identity of the injured person has not been revealed at this time. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
