One person suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Bellevue that also closed Lakemont Boulevard at SE Newport Way northbound.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at about 8 p.m. The early reports indicated that a truck slammed into a power pole, knocking the pole down. On arrival, emergency personnel transported the driver to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The southbound lane on Lakemont Boulevard had limited traffic going through. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternative routes. No other details have been released by the officials.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
