1 person hospitalized after a suspected DUI crash in northwest Las Vegas valley crash (Las Vegas, NV)

One person received injuries and a teenage driver is possibly facing a charge after a suspected DUI crash Wednesday night in the northwest Las Vegas valley.

As per the initial information, the two-car collision was reported at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Grand Canyon Drive and Farm Road, north of the northern 215 Beltway. According to the reports, a Ford Mustang was traveling north on Grand Canyon and entered the intersection on a green light.

At that point of time, a Hyundai Accent was going east when it went through the red light, slamming into the Ford. A passenger in the Hyundai was transported to a hospital and was reported to be in stable condition. Impairment was suspected to be a factor on the part of the Hyundai driver. Both the driver and passenger in the Hyundai are in their teens. No other information is available.

The crash remains under investigation.
