1 person hospitalized after a motorcycle collision in Pacific Beach (San Diego, CA)

One person received injuries after a two-vehicle accident Friday in Pacific Beach.

As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place in the 4400 block of Fanuel Street at about 3:37 PM. The preliminary reports showed that a 31-year-old driver of a Ford Mustang made a left turn while heading southbound on Fanuel Street, colliding with a motorcyclist in front of him who was riding northbound on the same road.

The motorcyclist, 51, had multiple fractures and was transported to a local hospital with non-fatal injuries. According to the authorities, the Mustang violated the motorcyclist’s right of way. Driving under the influence is not believed to be involved in the wreck. No other details are made available.

An investigation is ongoing.
