The Pomona Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday morning. The accident happened in the 4100 block of West Valley Blvd at around 5:05 a.m. The collision involved two vehicles.
At the scene, a sedan and a large commercial vehicle collided with each other. The events leading up to the crash are not yet known.
The passenger was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public yet.
According to police, paramedics transported the car’s driver to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The other driver did not suffer any harm.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
