The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash east of Fountain hills.
The accident happened on State Route 87 at milepost 201 close to the Bush Highway. The collision involved two vehicles.
One person was pronounced dead in the crash. The name and identity of the person are not yet made public.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
