1 Person Died, Another Injured After A Motor Vehicle Crash In Irvine (Orange County, CA)

The Orange County Fire Authority responded to a motor vehicle crash that claimed a life and injured another. The crash happened near Barranca Parkway and the 133 Freeway around 3:17 p.m. 

According to the authorities, one person died, another was hospitalized, and a dog was injured when a vehicle crashed into a tree on Saturday afternoon. 

Upon the arrival of the crews, the second person was taken to a local trauma center. The injured dog was taken to animal service with a leg injury. 

No further details regarding the crash are currently available. 

The crash is being investigated.
