According to Memphis Police, a multi-vehicle accident occurred on Sunday evening.
The officials stated that a man riding his motorcycle collided with a fire truck on East Holmes Road near Waldrup Street in Whitehaven.
The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m.
The motorcyclist was transported to St. Francis Park Hospital in critical condition. The officials pronounced him dead.
The victim is yet to be identified by the Memphis Police.
The fatal accident is being investigated by the Memphis Police.
No further information is available regarding the crash by the Police.
