According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle collision was reported on Sunday evening in Anaheim.
The officials stated that a black pickup truck and a white Toyota Corolla crashed into each other in the FasTrak lanes just west of Imperial Highway at around 6 pm.
The Anaheim Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Robert Stuart stated that one was evacuated from the pickup truck. The pickup truck victim died in the fatal crash.
An adult and three minors in the Corolla suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated by a doctor at the scene.
The CHP is investigating which vehicle rolled over and caused the incident.
No additional information regarding the identities of the victims involved in the crash was released by the officials.
