On Wednesday, one person died while another suffered injuries following a traffic crash on Highway 111.
As per the initial information, the fatal motor vehicle accident happened a little before 10:30 p.m. at the intersection with Dune Palms Road, near La Quinta’s border with Indio. Reports confirmed that one person was killed in the crash, whereas emergency responders transported one victim to the hospital with minimal injuries.
It is unknown how many vehicles in total were involved in the collision. The events that have led up to the crash also remain unclear at this time. No other details are immediately available.
