On Tuesday, one person was killed after getting struck by a vehicle in the south Los Angeles area.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at approximately 5:50 a.m. at Florence Avenue and Figueroa Street. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit the victim for reasons that are yet to be known.
The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. It is unknown if the vehicle that hit the pedestrian stayed at the scene or not after the collision. No additional information has been provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
