1 person dead after an auto-pedestrian collision in Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA)

One person was killed after being hit by a vehicle Friday morning in Moreno Valley.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at around 9:45 a.m. on Heacock Street and Sandbow Street, adjacent to the Poorman Reservoir. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials.

It is unknown if the driver involved remained at the scene or not after hitting the pedestrian. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No further details are available.

The incident remains under review.
