One person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Peoria.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle accident took place near the intersection of 84th Avenue and Bell Road. The early reports showed that the motorcycle might have been passing another car southbound when it slammed into a truck that was traveling northbound.
The motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials. Impairment is not suspected to be involved in the crash at this time. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
