On Thursday night, one person died following a two-vehicle collision in Smyrna.
As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place on Windy Hill Road at Village Parkway. The early reports revealed that a vehicle hit a bicyclist for undetermined reasons. According to the officials, the bike rider was a man in his 50s.
Some lanes in the area were shut down as crews worked at the scene. Drivers were asked to avoid the area. Officials have not identified the driver at this time. It is unknown if there would be any charges. No other details have been released by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
