According to the North Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, a hit-and-run crash was reported on Wednesday in Las Vegas.
Authorities confirmed that 1 person died and 1 person was injured due to the fatal accident.
Officials stated that the collision occurred in the area of Belmont St and Dillon Ave.
A 2015 TaoTao moped was traveling southbound and it was rear-ended by a truck.
The two riders of the moped were ejected due to this.
The male driver was transported to UMC with serious injuries.
The female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The driver of the truck fled the accident scene after committing the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation by the NLVMP.
