On Sunday evening, three people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Orange.
The multi-vehicle wreck took place at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Earlham Street. The preliminary investigation showed that two vehicles were involved, with two of the three injured victims in critical condition.
Emergency crews used the Jaws of Life to extricate a person from one of the vehicles before they were rushed to nearby medical facilities; Orange County Global Medical Center and Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center. Witnesses informed the officials that the two vehicles involved were a Nissan and a Scion. No other details were provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
