The Police Department reported  a motor vehicle crash in Walnut.

The accident happened In the 1100 block of North Grand Avenue, close to the campus bookstore at around 7:30 a.m.

Ralph Barragan,64, Mt. A San Antonio College Employee was hit by a vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigators said that the collision seemed to be an intentional act.

Before being arrested, the suspect, who was only described as a man in his 30s, was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the collision.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the police.
