1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Savannah (Savannah, GA)

The Georgia State Patrol is probing a fatal two-vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist on Abercorn Street/State Route 204 at Sweetwater Station Drive. The collision, which occurred around 10 p.m. on Thursday, resulted in traffic congestion for two hours near the prominent American flag.

According to preliminary investigations, the motorcyclist was traveling at a speed exceeding the posted limit in the left lane, trailing another vehicle. As they approached the Sweetwater Station Drive intersection, the motorcycle rear-ended the vehicle in front.

The impact ejected the motorcyclist, who succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Further details are pending as the investigation continues.
