Semi-truck carrying paper products crashes on I-90 near Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA)

A semi-truck driver fell onto its side in a crash on I-90 early Thursday morning.

WSP says that the 23-year-old Carlos Lomeli of Yakima was traveling eastbound in the right lane about 17 miles east of Moses Lake when he lost balance of his big rig.

Lomeli told that he tried to change course to avoid a coyote on the road, but couldn’t get control, causing his cab and trailer to roll on its side.

Authorities shut down the Eastbound I-90 for several hours.

Troopers cited Lomeli for having his wheels off the roadway. However, Lomeli did not cope any injuries as a result of the accident.

Moreover, the incident caused damage to the interstate.
