One person died after a motorcycle accident near Lake Travis (Austin, TX)

On Monday afternoon, one person was killed after a motorcycle crashed into another vehicle in west Travis County.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 2 p.m. in the 15000 block of Debba Drive, just east of the intersection with RM 620. The early reports showed that the motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

The events that have led up to the collision remain unknown at this time. Authorities asked the motorists to avoid the area while crews worked at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin. No other details are available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
