Officials identified 46-year-old Alexander Ventseslavov who died after a motorcycle crash in north Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

Authorities identified 46-year-old Alexander Ventseslavov as the man who lost his life following a traffic collision Tuesday morning in north Phoenix.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle accident took place near Utopia and Cave Creek roads at 11:30 a.m. The preliminary reports showed that a man driving a Peterbilt Truck turned left onto Utopia Road when it struck a motorcycle ridden by 46-year-old Alexander Ventseslavov as he headed north on Cave Creek Road.

Due to the impact, Ventseslavov’s motorcycle continued across the road and into traffic where it hit an additional vehicle. Ventseslavov succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Impairment and speed are not believed to be involved in the accident. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
