According to the Killeen Police, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday night in Killeen.
Officials confirmed that one Fort Hood soldier died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities confirmed that the collision occurred in the area of W.Stan Schlueter Loop and Hudson Drive.
The deceased soldier was identified as Jacob Oswald.
Oswald was riding a black Harley Davidson and traveling westbound.
The driver of a black Nissan Rogue traveling southbound failed to yield right of way at a stop sign.
The Nissan Rogue then raced into the intersection and caused the motorcycle to collide with it.
Oswald was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation by the Killeen Police Department.
