On Saturday, a man and his daughter suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision on Interstate 580.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place at around 9 p.m. near the area of Mill Street. The early reports showed that the motorcycle went down taking its riders with it after the collision.
After that, several cars hit both riders before traffic stopped. Authorities shut down lanes of southbound I-580 as crews worked at the scene. Officials said that the child is expected to survive. The condition of the man is unknown at this time. No further details were provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
