Authorities identified 52-year-old Todd Ehrlich who died after a motorcycle crash on US 281 (Marble Falls, TX)

Authorities identified 52-year-old Todd Ehrlich, of Spicewood, as the victim who was killed following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday on U.S. 281.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle accident happened at around 11 a.m. Tuesday just north of Marble Falls. The investigation reports showed that a vehicle heading north on U.S. 281 tried to turn around and assist a stalled motorist on the northbound shoulder when the car struck the motorcycle, driven by Ehrlich.

The reports also revealed that the driver turned unsafely in front of the motorcycle that was going north on U.S. 281. The motorcycle hit the left side of the vehicle. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle due to the impact. Ehrlich was declared deceased at Seton Highland Lakes in Burnet.

An investigation continues.
