The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is probing a fatal crash northwest of Lake McMurray in Skagit County on Tuesday night. At approximately 11:00 pm troopers rushed to the scene after a car collided with a utility pole on SR-534 near Coyote Ln.
At least one person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. Highway closures were implemented, with authorities urging drivers to steer clear of the area as investigations unfolded.
