According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday in Chelan County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Chumstick Highway, north of Leavenworth. The driver of a motorcycle lost control of the vehicle and caused her to enter the oncoming lane.
The driver was identified as Alexandra Becerra. Becerra was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CCSO. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
