On Tuesday night, a man lost his life after a two-vehicle accident in North Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the intersection of Alexander and Losee Roads at around 8 p.m. after getting reports of a motorcycle crash. The preliminary investigation showed that a motorcycle was going southbound on Losee approaching Alexander. At the same time, an Amazon delivery truck was heading northbound and attempted to make a left turn onto Alexander.
Just then, the motorcyclist collided with the truck. The man, believed to be in his 20s or 30s, died of his injuries at the crash scene. The intersection was completely shut down as crews worked at the scene. Speed and impairment were believed to be involved in the accident as of Tuesday evening. At this time, it is unknown who was at fault.
An investigation into the crash is continuing.
