A motorcycle crash killed 1 person on Bodfish Canyon Road (Bakersfield, CA)

On Tuesday, one person was killed following a two-vehicle accident on Bodfish Canyon Road.

As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place at 10:18 p.m. near the 1700 block of Bodfish Canyon Road in which a vehicle and a motorcycle were involved. According to the officials, the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the incident happened.

Reports also showed that the vehicle struck a tree in the process. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
