A 63-Year-Old Man Was Killed In A Solo Motorcycle Crash In Lakeside (Lakeside, CA)

The California Highway Patrol informed a fatal motorcycle accident in Lakeside that killed a 63-year-old man and injured a 2-year-old boy travelling along with him. 

On Monday, approximately at 7:30 p.m., a 63-year-old man on a three-wheel Honda motorcycle eastbound on Serena Road, west of Serena Lane, lost control of the motorcycle. It then drifted off to the right curve of the road, causing them to be thrown out of the vehicle. This was reported by Jared Grieshaber, a CHP public information officer. 

CHP stated that the 63-year-old man was killed on site. The child was taken to Rady Children’s Hospital with slight injuries. 

The identity of the man is not disclosed yet. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
