The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist who had been killed in a motorcycle accident in Sacramento County.
Justin Fetterly, spokesperson officer of CHP North Sacramento, said that the 80-year-old Bart Hersevoort from Davis was driving a Harley Davidson. He was headed westbound on Arden Way, east of Bell Street. He then slammed into the road’s centre divider.
Hersevoort was fatally injured and was pronounced dead. It is not entirely clear what caused him to suddenly slam the brakes.
It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
