75-Year-Old William Hatmaker Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Yuma (Yuma, AZ)

A tragic motor vehicle accident unfolded on Sunday when a fiery car crash claimed the life of William Hatmaker, a 75-year-old man from Vancouver, Washington, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS).

The fatal crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. on US 95 when a 1969 Chevy Camaro, driven by Hatmaker, was traveling northbound. AZDPS reports that the Camaro crossed left of center and overcorrected back to the right, ultimately rolling over off the shoulder of the roadway.

Hatmaker, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was ejected from the car and succumbed to his injuries on impact. As investigations continue, KYMA will provide ongoing updates on this tragic incident.
