75-year-old Charlene E Flannigan died after a motorcycle crash on I-5 (Longview, WA)

Authorities identified 75-year-old Charlene E Flannigan, from Reno, Nevada, as the woman who lost her life following a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Longview.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle accident took place on Interstate 5. The investigation reports showed that a motorcycle driven by Flannigan was heading northbound on Interstate 5 near the Lexington Bridge.

The reports also revealed that Flannigan was driving in the second lane when, for unknown reason, she lost control and traveled into the median. Charlene E Flannigan died at 2:12 p.m. Thursday at the scene. Flannigan was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The motorcycle was wrecked due to the crash. No other information is available.

An investigation is ongoing.
