73-Year-Old Man Killed In A Motorcycle Accident In Yakima (Yakima, WA)

According to the police, a 73-year-old man was killed in a fatal crash on Lincoln Avenue on Saturday.

 

Police stated that the man was travelling east on the 1400 block of West Lincoln Avenue. The driver changed lanes to go around a stopped delivery vehicle. 

According to the witnesses, the rider crashed into the delivery van after hitting the side of a passing car and losing control of the vehicle. 

The first responders stated that the man was conscious when they arrived. He was taken to Memorial Hospital where his condition worsened and he succumbed to his injuries. 

According to the police, the motorcycle rider was at fault as he failed to yield the right of way when changing lanes. 

The rider is yet to be identified by the Yakima Police. 

No additional information regarding the injuries of other passengers or the motorcycle crash is available.
