According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Friday night. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred on the 4800 block of Highway 358.
A man traveling on a motorcycle lost control of his vehicle when he tried to make a lane change. This resulted in the motorcycle flipping and finally coming to a stop on an exit ramp.
The 67-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Other information pertaining to the wreck remains unknown.
The cause of the collision has not been determined yet. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The crash continues to be investigated by the CCPD.
