66-Year-Old William Charles Carter Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

Tucson Police are probing the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash on the south side involving a driver who collided with a sign. 66-year-old William Charles Carter was traveling near West Ajo Way and South Sixth Avenue early Tuesday morning when he lost control of his car, resulting in the collision.

Tragically, Carter succumbed to his injuries at the scene. According to a TPD media release, Carter was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and had drugs in his system. The investigation aims to determine if the presence of drugs or a medical condition played a role in the accident.

There are no other details pertaining to the motor vehicle accident available at this time.
