65-year-old Victor Bond succumbs to his injuries after a motorcycle crash in Nashville (Nashville, TN)

Authorities identified 65-year-old Victor Bond as the man who died of injuries he suffered following a two-vehicle accident on May 11 in Nashville.

The fatal motorcycle crash took place on Dickerson Pike near the Briley Parkway interchange. According to the investigation reports, Victor Bond was driving his motorcycle southbound with another rider when a dark-colored vehicle did not stop while exiting Briley Parkway and turned left into the motorcycle’s path.

Bond reportedly tried to avoid the crash, but he failed to maintain control of his bike. On arrival, medical personnel rushed Bond and his passenger to Skyline Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Officers were notified that Bond succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
