Officials identified 64-year-old Steven Bamford and 67-year-old Donna Bamford as the victims who suffered injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon on Silverado Trail.
The motorcycle crash took place at about 2:27 p.m. on Silverado Trail, south of Yountville Cross Road. According to the investigation reports, a Harley-Davidson Road Glide crashed into a 2017 Tesla Model S sedan. The Tesla had pulled out of the shoulder lane and attempted to make a U-turn when it failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle.
On arrival, medics took the motorcycle rider, Steven Bamford to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with serious injuries while his passenger, Donna Bamford was transported to Napa Hospital with moderate injuries. The Tesla driver, 20-year-old Melanie Navarro Torres, remained uninjured.
An investigation continues.
