According to the Peoria Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Friday night in Peoria. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on State Route 74, near Lake Pleasant Parkway. The driver of a Jeep was turning left in front of a motorcyclist who was trying to go eastwards. This resulted in the Jeep striking the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was identified as 64-year-old Daniel Crossett. Crossett was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Other insights pertaining to the collision are pending determination.
The cause of the accident has not been released yet. The crash continues to be investigated by the PPD.
