John L. Houston, a 62-year-old man from Lakebay, Washington, has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash on Jackson Avenue last week, as confirmed by the Kitsap County Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday.
Houston was a passenger in a van that was struck from behind, leading to his tragic death.
The autopsy conducted by Kitsap County’s Chief Medical Examiner, Lindsey Harle, revealed that Houston’s cause of death was accidental multiple blunt force injuries. The crash occurred when a Chevrolet Camaro driven by Baylijo Williams collided with the Toyota Sienna carrying Houston and other passengers.
Williams, 21, was arrested and charged with one count of vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular assault following the incident. The investigation into the crash continues as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to this fatal accident.
