According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a motor vehicle crash that took place in Macon claimed the life of 61-year-old Lorenso Poole on Sunday.
Approximately at 7:00 p.m., Lorenso Poole, riding his motorcycle on Pio Nono Avenue, collided with a Chevy Malibu that was traveling in the same lane. As a result, Poole was killed even after being transported to the hospital, according to the authorities.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
