According to the Washington State Patrol, a motor vehicle collision that took place in Pierce County claimed the life of a 58-year-old man. According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in a collision.
On Sanitary Fill Road, a 43-year-old man driving a Volkswagen Jetta westbound crashed into a Chevrolet Aveo that was traveling northbound on State Route 161. The 58-year-old man was critically injured and rushed to a hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
