58-year-old Alexander Lamb hospitalized after a motorcycle crash near Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA)

Authorities identified 58-year-old Alexander Lamb as the man who suffered injuries following a single-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon south of Ellensburg.

As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place at around 4:30 p.m. on SR 281, approximately 11 miles south of Ellensburg. The early reports showed that Alexander Lamb was northbound on a 2020 Harley Davidson FLHX when his motorcycle went into the southbound lane and struck a guardrail.

On arrival, emergency personnel rushed Lamb to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with unspecified injuries. At this time, it is unclear whether alcohol or drugs contributed to the accident. Lamb was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation is ongoing.
