56-Year-Old Mark Simpson Killed In A Motorcycle Accident In Spokane (Spokane, WA)

The Washington State Patrol reported a motorcycle accident in Spokane on Monday. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 395 at around 11:20 a.m.

According to the officials, a motorcycle was headed south on the highway when it crashed into a pickup with a trailer. The trailer was stopped at a yield sign while it was crossing the highway. 

The driver of the motorcycle was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. He has since been identified as 56-year-old Mark Simpson. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as 76-year-old James Bunch, did not incur any injuries. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
